Stop by and meet this wonderful new space at BALibrary! Ask the Master Gardeners questions, visit our partners at the Rotary for a free kid’s book, participate in a storytime, and pick up fun Take and Make kits designed for both kids and adults. Masks are recommended for unvaccinated participants over the age of two, when physical distancing cannot be maintained. Social distancing guidelines will be in place. Giveaways available while supplies last.

The Teaching Garden was created in collaboration with the North Cook County Master Gardeners and the Barrington Breakfast Rotary Club. The Teaching Garden is an outdoor classroom for hands-on, multi-generational learning, but also a spot for quiet reading and reflection, situated in the southeast corner of the Library’s upper parking lot.
