Communicating in a Crisis

Communication in Crisis: Empowering the “Sandwich Generation” to navigate communication with children and aging parents in times of adversity. Barrington Youth and Family Services and Bacoa have teamed up to address the difficult conversations families and caregivers must facilitate when challenging events occur.  This presentation will cover the following:

• Identifying when a loved one is in crisis
• Recognizing when taking action is needed
• Analyzing the possible outcomes
• Developing a safety plan
• Managing family communications amidst a crisis
