Program Description

Event Details

The Great Depression had subsided, but terror ruled the lives of many due to Adolf Hitler, the Holocaust, World War II, and the Red Scare. The microwave oven, the Jeep, Swing music, and the atomic bomb exploded onto the scene. From Pearl Harbor, to the Marshall Plan, to the rumblings of the Cold War, don’t miss historian Jim Gibbons’ presentation on this world-changing decade.
