Reserve a Room

The Library makes a wide variety of rooms available to BALibrary cardholders for individual/collaborative work, study, meetings, and other types of events. Reciprocal borrowers (who have registered another library card with BALibrary) may use a study room for one hour on a walk-in basis, and may renew the room for a second one hour time slot if it has not been reserved by a BALibrary cardholder.

Rooms are free of charge (some additional services may require a fee) and available during regular Library hours. Requests must be made through the online reservation system, and making a reservation confirms that the customer booking the room understands and agrees to all Barrington Area Library policies regarding meeting and study rooms. Learn more about current meeting and study room policies and procedures. While the Meeting Room policy allows for reservations at a maximum of four months in advance, at this time, the Library is allowing reservations up to two months in advance. The current month and the month following are available for Meeting Room bookings.
