The march towards full voting rights in the United States began centuries ago and continues to this day. Audra Wilson, former president of the League of Women Voters – Illinois and current CEO of the Shriver Center on Poverty Law, will highlight Black suffragettes and how their work resonates with current efforts towards racial justice.
