Pick up a free copy of The Water Horse, read it as a family, then join us for fun activities based on the book. Register. Program Room. When eight-year-old Kirstie and her family go beach combing near their home in Scotland, she brings home a strange egg, which hatches into an animal unlike anything she’s seen before: part horse, part toad, part turtle, part crocodile?
