Program Description

Jeffrey Zwartjes, Artist in Residence at the Center for Puppetry Arts, teaches participants to build a working, Bunraku-style puppet from simple supplies. Based on the human figure, puppets can be transformed into just about any character.

This 90 minute workshop allows participants to bring their puppets to life through manipulation exercises and scripted scenes. Supplies provided.

Recommended for ages 13 and up.  Register. Virtual.
